Bannavis Andrew Sribyatta

An award winning Miami based architect with 17 years of experience in architecture, interior design, and furniture design. He received his Bachelor degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute and Master of Architecture from Columbia University, he had worked several years with eminent architectural firms in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami prior to opening his own practise in 2003. He had worked alongside the world renowned French architect, Bernard Tschumi as a project architect for the Florida International University School of Architecture. He was also the project architect for Miami International Airport South Terminal responsible for the façade design and detailing. He has also involved in several winning competitions such as Port of Alicante Cruise Terminal in Spain (build in 2005), a 4 square mile waterfront development in Cameroon, Africa (unbuild), and Redwood Townhouse development in Venice Beach, California (build in 2007) to name a few. He further continues his love for design by educating the future architect and interior designers as a professor at Florida International University, and Miami-Dade Collage. His work has been published in several world renowned publications such as Architectural records, Metropolis Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, Time Magazine, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and the Miami Herald. Including documentaries film on Sustainable Design for The Sundance Channel, guest designer on HGTV channel, and California Gold with Huell Howser on PBS. He has also given lectures of his work throughout North America. His furniture became a permanent collection to the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, US National Design Museum-Smithsonian Institution, NYC, the Miami Science Museum, and the National Building museum in Washington DC. He also received Design Award in 2 consecutive years from the interior Design Magazine, and been selected and exhibited at the Shelburne Museum in 2007 as the top 20 Green Designer. In his hometown, Bangkok Thailand. He has worked on projects ranging from low-rise condominiums, community mall, high-end boutique shop, restaurant, office complex, and residential designs.
